troubles in the "burbs"

Hmm . . . I have to say the owners seem overly paranoid, or else simply ignorant of the fact that there's no way chicken wire could withstand roaming dogs. It looks like the dogs just busted through that flimsy stuff. They would put their time to better use if they quit trying to pin the "crime" on someone and went out to buy some decent material for rebuilding their coop.

This is so very sad! ...and it looks to me like the wire was cut!! I feel so sorry for her and her child..nasty nasty death for the chickens! ohhh people can make me so very mad!

Like any other pet you get out of them what you put into them, why are their dogs not just food? People in Asia eat them al the time...Dogs running at large is NOT got for anyone let alone the dogs!

she used plain old chicken wire. No one cut the wire. That stuff is easily tore through by anything bigger than a house cat. a doberman and lab would get through that stuff easily. Maybe she should have come here and asked what to use before building her coop /run/fence out of flimsy material.
