Hello everyone

I bought a Nurture Right 360 incubator in 2020 and I used it once before placing it in storage. I thoroughly cleaned it and placed it back in the box. It has been stored properly- no exposure to dust or water and it has been kept inside a house.

I plugged it in today and none of the buttons seem to be working and the screen is glitching. All the screen reads is 8 and they are shaky as well. I have tried to do a factory reset on it but it did not work. Has anyone else experienced this? Or any ideas on how to fix it? TIA

I have one and never had that happen. I attached their instructions to make sure you had them to try the factory reset, but also that they do have an email at the bottom you could contact them.

My resolution if things don't work is reboot, unplug, etc., but sounds like you've tried that. Maybe was humidity higher where it was stored?

Thank you for your help. It ended up being a bad plug - I replaced the plug and it didn’t glitch anymore but sadly the incubator would not reach 100 degrees 🥲 So I will probably throw it out

I saw on your other thread you are hatching eggs so did you buy another one? I really don't understand why one you've used only once got a bad plug and heater just sitting in a box, but regardless, I'm with Moonshiner in no, no, no, please don't throw it away. You probably can buy a replacement heater for these, but first I'd take it to a different part of the house and plug it in to test it again as I think where you had it was jinxed. :idunno:confused:

I did not get it fixed - the hatch I am starting today is in my other incubator. Luckily my farm innovators is still working great. It’s been sitting in a box since 2020 because I lost my entire flock to a stray dog that year and I haven’t had anything to hatch since then. I don’t understand why it doesn’t work either - very disappointing since the one time I used it it worked great 🙁 I have looked for replacement parts with no luck. If you have any suggestions on where to look I’d love to hear them. Also, I did move it to a different part of the house to see if it was just the plug and I had the same issue.

I know this is post is a few months old- I bought a "broken" nr360 on marketplace.. had this same issue. I tore it down, cleaned it, and tested systematically until I discovered the temperature sensor was the culprit.

Once removed the display cleared, showed my humidity, and alarmed that there was a temperature error.

Now to find a new probe...
