True Ameracauna? Also, boy or girl?

This baby is 4 weeks old. It is supposed to be a Lavendar Ameracauna. I'm hoping it's a girl...I notice this chick doesn't have much for a tail, but not sure what that means for Ameracaunas. This is the only Ameracauna out of the bunch of chicks I have, so I can't really compare apples to apples. I'm also wondering if it's a true Ameracauna or not, out of mere curiosity. She came from a breeder, so I would assume yes.

Just edited to add that yes, it did come from a breeder. I think I did read somewhere that Lavendar isn't recognized, but is that the only thing that would allow it to be called an Ameracauna? The colors used to achieve a Lav are recognized, right?

I don't want to get off topic... the breed doesn't really matter to me. I was just curious and don't want to call it an Ameracauna if it's not actually one, lol. That's all.

Any insight on gender??

I know how you feel! It would make me feel insecure if I was calling an Easter Egger an Ameraucana as well. So far everything is pointing towards girl IMO.

Can't tell gender at this point, but that does appear to be a legit Lav Ameracauna. No they are not a recognized color yet, but many shows have a category for developing breeds/mixes/etc.
