True Green Eggs

I get what I consider to be an olive egg. I will crack one or two in the morning and examine them. Sorry, I just saw this thread. It's very interesting, I'm glad you asked! But I know nothing of genetics so I may not be much help in that aspect.

Thanks, I will appreciate that, make sure to peal the egg membrane and post what breed or mix breed is the hen laying the eggs

I will do that, but all I can tell you is that the hen is one of my hatchery EE's from Meyer's that we got this last March. I have no way of knowing who lays which egg, sorry, or what they might be. I will say so again when I post pics in the morning. I would do it tonight but the lighting is terrible.

I'm sorry, I'm having trouble uploading my pic. Probably due to weather. I will try again tomorrow. But when I peeled the membrane, the shell color on the inside of my olive egg is blue.

Trying again. Okay, here we go, it loaded. Membrane has been removed from the shell portion on the left, you can see that it is blue on the inside. Again, this egg was laid by one of my random Meyer hatchery EEs purchased as day-olds about the first of this past March. Sorry I can't tell you more than that. Hope this helps.
