Here's your first tip.
Put the water container on a piece of board or something similar, to get it a smidge higher. It'll prevent them from kicking the wood chips into their fresh H2O!
As they grow you can keep getting it up higher with a couple of bricks (or whatever)

So glad you joined us! You're going to love your chicken journey, it's a whole new world!
 
My heckin' bad naughty rotten little chickers dumped their waterer over every. Single. Day. But then, I had one of those little tall ones. And they also dumped the feed out repeatedly.

You got the nice feeders and waterers. I doubt you have the same problem. Just prop them up and you won't have to keep cleaning it out.

By the way, what are you feeding them?
