Mine says the same - I've wanted a flock for a while and hubs finally said yes this spring!!! Just really got into BYC in the last few months and really the last couple of weeks really. I know EXACTLY where maple
Lake is! I grew up in minnetonka and still
Live here ( by route of Wi ) but would be happy out in the middle of nowhere - as long as amazon still delivered
Lol - well, we're a ways out of the city, and Amazon delivers here, no problem. Our internet provider leaves a little to be desired, but it's good enough. I really LOVE living out here in the country!

The space and air and night sky.... nothing like it!
Yes, I really love the space! Me and hubs both grew up in the city, but after living out in the country, when we do have to go into the city for something, we look at the small yards and just go "ewwww, these yards are way too small"! Plus, after living on a dirt road with the busiest road being a one-lane hwy., when I get on the multi-lane freeways, I can't wait to get out of the ratrace! The country is beautiful & mellow! So you're in Minnetonka? I've actually never been there, but always thought it was more of a city? It's okay to keep chickens there, I assume?

Yep it is beautiful here but getting busier and busier. My sister in law moved to Hanovr and we visited this past weekend it was a beautiful drive. In Minnetonka you can have one chicken for every .1 acre. So our flock is small but so much fun

I supposed I should report what actually makes me "True northerner ". Basically anything over 75°F and I actually start melting. For me 65° and sunny is amazing! The gray days - don't really bother not even when it's misting or drizzling I will be out in the rain tinkering :) maybe I
Should get some ducks!?
