True Wheaten Ameraucana??

So upon researching more about the color I came across a breeder of Ameracauna chickens who graciously answered my FB message.

HE is an Isabel Ameraucana cockerel.

I am super bummed :hit

I know this is a bit of an older thread but I just wanted to add that Ameraucanas go through an “uglies” stage. When you originally posted about your pullet she had her feathers in but a chick fluff beard still. As you found out, she does have a beard it’s just one of the last things to feather. You must be patient with them!
Do you have any updated photos of her?

She's very pretty! I'm new to wheaten ameraucanas, just got my first 3 pullets!!... From what I'm researching, she doesn't look to SOP, but looks like pure wheaten to me! I'd be happy with mine turning out like that :) And a huge bonus if they're friendly!!
