This is our 3rd attempt at trying to hatch something! Last time we got pretty close with a couple of Coturnix developing fully but not hatching. This time we have 26 out of 42 eggs that are fertile. If all goes well we can give everyone in our family a baby quail this Christmas! LOL

Should these eggs not hatch check the thermometer and hygrometer readings. All too often equipment that is thought to be working as it should is not.

I found a thermometer that came with a propane cooker that I have been sliding through the holes in the top of the incubator. It has been very consistent with the factory thermometer on the LG 9300. I also have an incutherm that has been consistent with the temp but the humidity between those 2 varies quite a bit. The humidty may read 50% and 2 minutes later it may read 30. I'm adding a little water every now and then and hoping for the best
