I set 6 eggs a lil over 21 days ago. I got 2 out of 6. I put 19 in today after sanitizing and let the incubator dry and letting it run for 24 hours or more. I put 19 more eggs in at 5p.m. today. Due to hatch April the 20th. Bought a new themometer and hydrometer today a acurite. For 8$ has been a little over 6 hours and temps holding at 101-102. Humidity is 47%. Gonna try to run my humidity a little lower then I did the first time it ran from 50-51%. So far so good i guess. We will see in another 21 days. I am hoping for a much better hatch this time..

I am keeping a log of my temps and humidity do if this time does not turn out right i can go back and see what might have happened.

I also got a tip about the LG still air that the eggs should be placed right in the middle if possible. So Last time mine were closer to the edges so maybe I'll get a better hatch this time.

Did you calibrate your hydometer. I have two accurite and both are 5% low. I would as you live in Kentucky drop your hatching humidity down even further. I live in tennessee and run mine at never over 40 average 35 and dont add water till it has go done to 25 for at least an hour. I have 95 to 100 percent hatch rates this way. Its up to you but our humidity is similar and if you didnt calibrate your hydrometer it probably is not totally accurate

I took your advice and calabritated it. Its running like a degree off. Its at 43 right now. So is that ok for ky humidty?

Yes still air has to be a lil higher Its running between 101 and 102. Maybe that was my prob the first time It was running in humidity a little higher.
