My flock is approximately 9 weeks old. Please, PLEASE help me identify the sexes! Should be a couple Americauna, a Silver Lace Wyandotte, and a mystery chicken. All were supposedly pullets, but... well...

The above is a barred rock girl!

This is an Easter Egger girl. She was probably sold as an Americana. EEs are like mixed Americanas.

This is also an EE girl!

Silver laced Wyandotte, I can't tell if roo or hen...

Your Barred Rock and your EEs are definitely pullets. Your silver-laced Wyandotte is showing a few male characteristics--give him a couple of weeks to be sure.

Thanks, guys! I had come pretty much to the same conclusion, but wanted/needed input. Haven't kept chickens since I was a young teenager. Dad would get a dozen straight-run and butcher anything that acted like it might consider becoming a roo.

I would give the SLW a bit more time. Either way, you got a good cock to hen ratio from a straight run!
