Hi, I have a small garden shed that I am using as my chicken barn I want to build them a better run then they currently have (just wire wrapped around the front, no top).
I want to build the hoop over about 6 1/2 of the 8 feet the barn is from side to side and about 5 feet tall. how do I figure out how long to cut the wire and how long the supports (pipe?) should be?
Also, how do I keep the wire up??? Im worried about it caving in under the heavy snow that we get here during the long northern Michigan winters. Im planning to put some kind of plastic pipe every several feet with heavy wire over the top of that and chicken wire over that (so that the heavy wire holds up the chicken wire) but Im worried this wont be enough?
Also, what is the best way to connect the hoop/run to the barn????
