Trying to correct splay leg

I have a chick here who just turned 1 week old.. I only now just realized that it had one splayed leg. I don't have before pics, but I attempted a brace (with the only tools I had) and am wondering if it looks okay? I used a bandaid around the legs and reinforced with a little electric tape.

Any advice? I don't have Velcro with me at the moment
The bandaid I used around her ankles is a little loose, and I'm hoping this will help correct the bad leg.

Hi.

One week old might be to late to achieve correction, but your brace looks good to me.

Even when caught earlier, some fix and some don't.

Just a happy update:

I kept the brace on for about 2 weeks, and its walking and running great! Took a little time for them to adjust, but everything was corrected.
