trying to decide what ducks are best for us

ok so I live in central TX. I have 5 acres and a HUGE pond. I have chickens and quail and at one point had muscovys but a stray dog decided to kill them... Since then we have predator proofed my property as much as possible.... What do all you wonderfully duck educated people think?

I think everyone needs Call Ducks

Are you looking for eggs, meat or just lawn ornaments? I'm sure some of the more experienced duck people can give you some better advice than me.

I love duck its delicious! Lol I've never had there eggs but have heard great things for baking! And my husband and I love to sit by our pond weather permitting and just watch so I would like then for entertainment!

The "classic" look is a bunch of white ducks and some Mallard-y looking ducks on a pond.

I think you should mix it up with some Cayugas, and then a whole slew of call ducks, all different "flavors."
