Go inside the coop at night and put a couple eggs for your mom to find, thatll really convince her theyre not boysOk thanks. That is what we thought.. But my mom really thinks 3 out of our 4 reds are hens.. Which they are iffy.. Only one has wattles and has a more red color. The other reds have pink colored combs. The black ones I just didnt know... I didnt see the tail feathers or the longer neck feathers.
What are do they start crowing? We were given a Polish rooster that is a couple weeks older than ours (he lived with family that lived im city limits and had to be rehomed) he has been crowing since we got him.. But none of the other have yet.Go inside the coop at night and put a couple eggs for your mom to find, thatll really convince her theyre not boysthen theyll start crowing and she'll think shes lost her mind

All of your reds have pointy saddle feathers that roosters get. Wattles and comb differences could just be delayed development and breed differences.Ok thanks. That is what we thought..
