I am expecting 7 ducks,7 turkeys and 2 geese on Wednesday of next week. Our four goose eggs are scheduled to hatch on the same day. Me and my boys are sooooo excited. Oh yeah I almost forgot my 11 chicks are scheduled to be moved out side to the coop on the same day!!!! We are hoping to receive our roo tomorrow.
I have the heat lamp on and water and food ready. But now that I turned the heat lamp on it isnt getting to 90 degrees at the very same height I had it at yesterday. So now I am recalibrating that baby. Is it super critical that it be right at 90? How did they survive in that box during the journey? I guess their body heat probably really helps?
