Hi there! I've got three babies that my Cochin Banty fostered which I'm trying to figure out the genders of. Here's some pics:
The larger black chick is a cochin cross and was the first to hatch. The red/brown one is a Silkie-Maran cross and was the second to hatch but is the largest and likes to play-fight, especially with the small black one. The small black one is a silkie crossed with some sort of bantam. All have feathered legs and are about three weeks old.
Do bantams mature slower than standards? The banty has a lot less feathers than the larger two. Could this be a roo? Is it accurate that Cockerels grow feathers slower than pullets?
Thank you for reading my post!!!
