Trying to hatch in still air incubator

I am hatching eggs in still air incubator. The wire digital thermometer, that came with the incubator, on top of the eggs reads one temp. I put two mercury regular thermometers in the incubator, laid them on top of egg turner and they read a lower temperature. Which temperature should I go by?

Go with the temperature inside
The same thing happens to my incubator it reads 110 on the outside, when it's actually 100 inside .

Sorry, no incubator experience here, just hatches under a broody hen. However, I did just want to wish you all the best.
