Hi, I've recently bought an incubator and had one batch of 22 eggs (a mixture of ebay purchased and our own) where no eggs hatched. I am not new to hatching eggs but have borrowed an incubator before. I found this one was hard to program and think it may have been the humidity. The incubator is an ZJchao 48 egg. It automatically turns. I've emailed them for advice but have not heard anything yet. Any advice re programming or humidity?

You can't rely on the temperature and humidity settings on an incubator. You have to verify with known/guaranteed accurate thermometers and either calibrated hygrometers or weighing eggs to check on weight loss.

xs 2 You can't even trust the brand new thermometers. Always check any thermometer/hygrometer you use. When it comes to humidity, I keep a good eye on my air cells to make sure moisture loss is right on progress.

Have any of you used the Alex AI-48? My friend brought it to me to work out the process. This thing is made in China I think & have not been able to find an online instruction manual. Where might I find a manual or booklet?
