Ok well I think people have done this before but I think im going to give it a shot.I have 4 ducks all females 1 pekin and 4 mallards.I know a guy who has muscovies and sells the males so if I could get a one and cross it with my pekin would that be a good cross?I was hoping it would have the foraging skills of a muscovy also with the very lean meat but the fast weight gain of a pekin.Also if I cross the muscovy with the mallards I would think it would pretty much be one of the best foragers/fliers/mothers and would need only minimal care.Should I try, would it be worth it?Ohh and I also know the offspring will probably be sterile.
