trying to make my silkie hatch eggs for me, she WONT sit on the eggs!!!!!!!!!!

Chickens, hens included don't give a fudge about what you and I want. They start sitting and they stop sitting in their own good time.

Also, if these eggs have been laying unattended in a nest box for a couple or four days, it will be a minor miracle if any of them develop, hatch, or produce live and healthy chicks.

OK, I'm on my computer so I can't screen shot it, but I'll try to explain. Go to the top of the page. See the bar with Home>Forums>Raising Backyard Chickens...? Look to the right of that. There should be a blue rectangular box that says start a new thread. Or maybe "post a new thread". Right now it says "reply to thread". Probably because I'm replying to your question.

Look below the button labeled "search" at the top of the page. I am unsure but you may not have replied to enough posts yet to be allowed to start new threads. Maybe the moderators can tell you more.

I just looked again. I just clicked on a forum and it said Post a New Thread to the right, under the bar I mentioned before. Maybe it looks different on my computer than on a different device.
