Trying to move a duckling into a flock

Lol..If there is it's new to me to...I'm going thru the process right now with my chickens, lil different circumstances...Mine were not from the girls but I'm trying to add a few more ladies to my flock. They're 8 weeks old and tried to integrate 2 but they were very mean to one. The other one was fine but didn't wanna leave the other one alone so I took both out and am stepping back for week or so and try again. IMO your biggest problem is the Drake this time of year. But other than seperateing him til his hormones chill the lil one may have to wait. You could maybe do a trial run and see how it goes setting him up in smaller area of barn instead of lone duckling. I'm not sure what you've already tried or if equipped to make a short term area for him. If you can get momma to accept the loner that would offer it some protection.

Considering how chill my male was when I introduced 2 females in January, I'm definitely thinking it's hormones. During the day I can just let the rest out and leave the male inside. Ive just been hesitant because everything I read said he should be able to see them. But the mother doesnt seem to do much to protect the other 3 ducklings. She'll get between them but only hisses and chases the cats (which in the cats defence, are usually just laying there).
Hopefully it'll work out in the end Lol.

Yes he should be able to see them. And same goes for baby your trying to introduce, really. It should be where they can all see each other but safe from attack. I've seen ppl using a partitioned area that will allow lil ones go in and out of main area but too small of an opening for big birds..Using poultry wire and a raised area for chicks to scoot under and away from big guys but big ones can't fit... Not sure if this would be feasible in your coop area
