Trying to stop crying...

Many of you know about my little "Kikiyo", the turkey who broke her leg.....
She was a particular favorite, and is the only bird that lived in the house with me. I've been working so hard to try and get her leg to work more, and she recently started laying.

Today, as I drove off to get Hailey at school, I saw her....feathers scattered over 25 sq. feet...and the better part of her body gone.... The only thing left of her was the one egg (broken) next to her, and an unmutilated head and neck. I have been crying all evening.... It's so hard to lose the special ones...

Oh, NO! I'm so sorry, CC! How awful for you. And after all you've been through with her, too. That just sucks.
