I see them advertised as Mystic Onyx. I believe they're the samething though.

I think they should be made a Porcelain Color, it'll be more attractive with the black skin.

It could still be a Mystic Oynx if it hasnt started crowing yet.

I believe the confusion with these started when two different hatcheries were selling them under 2 different names.

It gets even more confusing. The original hatchery claiming AC/Silkie mixes as Southern Ramblers then stated that they were "the same breed" as the Mystic Onyx. They also have "Rustic Ramblers" which are BCMxBR crosses. So then the original creator of the Southern Rambler changed the name to Southern Midnight.

I think Hoovers needs to change their name to Sherwin Williams. They've been mixing breeds like paint.

Southern Rambler aka Mystic Onyx. Hens should be all black but roosters have the colored backs like that. I bought 5 of those at TSC a few weeks back.

Technically a Silkie/Asian Black mix.
