hi I realy was'nt going to post yet but looking arround got me to thinking that I may have a couple EE's ? so I thought I'd ask.

Our story is we got 6 "pullets" from TSC and they are now 8 weeks ( I believe ) old 2 are "red pullets" and the other 4 were from the " assorted pullets ". The red pullets are what they are, the ones I'm wondering about are the brown, gold, black ones. Now in these pics there are only 4 birds, sadly I lost two last nite to a fox, one was the same as the ones I'm wondering about and one was a black and white one (green feet) that is in one of the pics on ramp to the coop.

Are these EE's or something else? We were not expecting them to be but it would be cool if they were, the kids would get a bigger kick out of the "cool eggs". oh yea thought I'd throw in a pic of the coop I built also. Thanks Danny

yes those are the ones I'm wondering about, in the first pic it is the two upfront and in the second pic it is the one if front and the one that is "center rear". thanks

Yep, an ee...sorry for your loss. Also, the run under the coop....you may wanna put hardware cloth over the welded wire....raccoons will easily reach through and behead a bird.

Once again thanks all.

Tyilyn that's exactly what I'm going to do, and that's actualy what happend to the hens we lost the fox reached thru and beheaded them.
