sunday would be great and I agree, 12:00 or 12:30. my chicks were gettting hot about 11:00am I bought an easy up canopy for the swap but figured if it rained, I'd be out of there, so I didn't bother. but for the heat, it might help some.
and it needs to be advertised in uncle henrys and CL. no sense in having a swap if only a few of us know about it.
will they still have the one august 14th in augusta?

She didn't mention anything set for the 14th of August at the Augusta store. Just called and she is off today so will check that out and let you guys know. Is it posted somewhere? Didn't see anything posted at the store yesterday either.

Both swaps are on the one August 1st is posted as a Chickenstock

The one on August 14th is one they do the second Saturday of every month and that is a farmstock, open to ALL types of livestock and farm supplies and Leslie said the poultry are more than welcome to attented that event as well. So that is two that poultry can be taken to in August.

Can someone explain to me the difference between a "Farmstock" and a "chickenstock" other than the fact that the chickenstock is more chicken related? I am wondering why they are two different events if we are always encouraging other types of animals to come to the chickenstocks. Would we have a bigger turnout and bigger buyers/spectators market if they were all more like a farmstock. People might come thinking that there will be a bigger variety. Just wondering. I'm fairly new to this.

Not much difference at all. The Farmstock is a regular event they have every month on the second Saturday. There has been lots of interest for a Sunday Swap, so this is why the extra event for a Sunday. I have a hard time making Saturday swaps as do others I'm sure and this allows more people the chance to be involved. I think if people are gonna come they will come. Can ask Leslie to word it a little differently. I will be also putting it in Uncle Henry's and on CL's.

I might actually be able to make this one, but not until a bit later into it. I'll be maybe looking for a silkie roo and some NN hens. I've got some bantam mutt chicks that I may bring

I may be bringing a black silkie x frizzle (smooth silkie) cockeral to the swap (depends on how this last hatch goes)
