TSC Bin - Brown Leghorn Pullets

The only thing I can think of is that they combined bins. Why else would there be an easter egger, an unknown red one and two males in a brown leghorn pullet bin.

Recently I weakened and bought ten chicks from the Cornishx bin. I do know what they look like, and loved that the staffer getting my chicks assured me that the two buff colored chicks were Cornishx too. She resented my comment that they weren't, but I'd get them anyway, as 'mystery chicks'. One is a buff Orphington, hopefully a pullet, and the other might be a hatchery RIR cockerel.
I got these, knowing who they weren't, and that's fine. It's bad when these folks sell birds who obviously aren't as advertised, and lie about them.

I've found TSC to be pretty much uneducated about everything they sell.
Around here they're all in the suburbs. You don't see any in the real agricultural areas.
That seems to make sense because suburbians are the only ones that seem to shop there.

I have to agree. I asked the employee to make sure if they were brown leghorn pullets, and of course he answered with his smart a$$ remark, 'that's what the sign says'. Don't get me wrong, I love TSC but the employees here are often teenagers who just needed a job and don't really care about what they sell and why its important to keep things organized.

See I will not shop at tsc they ticked me off major we have a great feed store in Morton 10 miles from here Dels farm and feed tsc bought Dels then closed it expecting we all would drive 55 miles to their other store in Chehalis.. they did not figure that there is a family owned store on highway between stated going there great kids have bought chicks from them 4 black sex links my silky raise them for me

Our other chain farm store isn't better, and as far as chick sales, they are worse.
It is best to know what the chicks should look like, by breed, before buying them. Many folks can look them up on their phones right at the store...
