I got 3 solid black ducklings that they said are Swedish but all the pictures I see online of Swedish have a pronounced yellow breast. Are these Swedish ducklings or some other breed?

Thanks,
Josh

Thanks!

I'm also guessing they could be black runners? I didn't pick them up so I don't know what other breeds they have on their list. I have the custom order brochure but it doesn't list runners :|

Well. Not sure about where you live, but here the TSC employees don't have the first clue about ducklings or chicks. I've tried to ask questions a couple times and have yet to strike an intelligent conversation, lol!

Edit- they do look e a couple pics of runner ducklings I'm seeing- especially the head!

It varies by location. My local TSC sells breeds that are not listed on their brochure.

Khaki Campbell's look gray instead of black based on the pictures.

We have some Mallards that are 3 weeks old and these 1 week old ducklings stand a lot taller than the mallards did.

Your ducklings look friendly! My ducklings absolutely hate me. I've been able to get my chicks to walk up to me, eat out of my hand, climb into my hand, etc. but whenever I go near my ducklings they run away in fear. No matter what breed they are, I think you lucked out. Plus, they are handsome!

I think khaki campbells might be the right guess as they look chocolate in some of the areas where the light is better. Otherwise, I would say they're cayuga, but the head shape on the first one doesn't look right.
