TSC is going to cause me to get Divorced

I have the exact opposite situation. My wonderful wife tolerates mine. We have a group ( the city girls) that have just started laying. Someone laid without a shell and my wife happened to be out collecting with me. I was trying to explain, but it was an ewwy moment for her while I was handing her eggs...

Hey Deerman.... got any hand-fed baby cockatiels for sale??? & how far are you from Pittsburgh...????

I know what you are talking about...bought my 5th incubator this week and had to have JUST ONE MORE small order of hatching eggs.
SO(city boy) doesnt understand it but for the most part, as long as I am happy, he's okay with it.

I got around the purchasing a bator by asking my parents for it for my birthday. That way DH can't complain that I spent money on it. He does however complain about every other part of keeping chickens, bator and brooders take electricity, we have to buy feed all the time, chicks create a ton of dust, chicks in the garage stink, the chicken coop stinks sometimes too. The ONLY thing he doesn't complain about is the eggs we get. He is happy about those. Don't get me wrong, he thinks the chicks are cute and he tries to be at least somewhat supportive. After all he did buy me 6 Speckled Sussex chicks to keep my SLW chicks company. That's a story in itself, but I won't go there. Suffice it to say that although he doesn't like the idea of me raising chickens, he lets me do it. I tried to justify the expenses to him today and he said "Don't even try to justify them to me." In other words, nothing will make him happy about the birds!

My DH is tired of all the poo in the yard, on the sidewalk, in the driveway, BLAH BLHAH BLAH..... We do have all LARGE birds - Brahmas, Cochins, BO, RIR, and they have some pretty big LUNKERS!

I try to mow the grass kinda long so that it might hide the "left behinds" but alas, the shoe does not lie.
