We got our first chicks almost 2 weeks ago. We thought we were getting reds. We were told they would be good egg layers and that's all I really wanted. Now I am afraid I have gotten cornish x. 5 Of them are
400
[/IMG][/IMG] growing really fast and have white feathers. One of them are smaller and have red speckles. I. am hoping maybe they are leghorn or something but I an new to this so I am not sure how to identify them Any help would be great.

There's a great UK website called Feathersite that offers pictures of all breeds of chickens, both adult and chick. Maybe look up Cornish cross there and see if it fits the description?

They don't look like Cornish crosses to me, as Cornish X would be larger, fatter, and have a distinctive appearance by now. I would guess that they are White Leghorns or White Plymouth Rocks.
