We purchased some chicks from TSC this past March and I am not sure what breed my Moana is. She came from a mixed bin. She has grown up to be one of our favorites. Does anyone have a clue as to what breed she may be?

Blue Plymouth Rock maybe?

We got three rocks the other week. A barred, a black and a blue and she looks like my blue one. Anything outside of Silkies isn't my forte though!

Are sapphire gems a type of Plymouth Rock?

Whenever I searched about our blue rock, it always came up sapphire gem blue Plymouth Rock...it's confusing

They carry Asian Blue, blue Plymouth Rock, and Sapphire Gem. It could be any of those, they're all hybrids and two are sexlinked crosses. There is enough variability in those that you may never know for certain. But, she is lovely regardless.

Oh, and blue Plymouth Rock is the same cross as Sapphire Gem, different hatcheries. It's licensing.
