TSC swap in Augusta, maine civic center drive on saturday, april 30th

Did you also have lavender orphs? We were in the black pickup truck, lots of different types of turkens but the pullets sold wicked fast. We also had 2 BLRW pullets and some assorted young roos. I'm pretty sure he's forgotten about the two new broodies in the coop that I shoved eggs under yesterday (the same day the prior 2 broodies hatched out!).

Well nice to "spot" you - next time I'll come over and introduce myself. I'm a bit shy at first...

And I did sell the splash (her name was Shelly as she had a bad case of shrinkwrap and I had to de-shell her); I sold her and her sister. I was surprised they didn't go first, though. They were the only BLRWs I had left too from my hatch... I thought they were very beautiful but for some reason didn't do "it" for me. Widget on here has the rest of them, and I thought she was going to come today and sell the cockerels but I didn't see her.

Couldn't make it to Augusta but I am going to Lewiston next week with my NN cockerels and a few others. Today I spent the morning at a local chick seminar (very basic information) from Poulin grain. But I did get to talk to many new chicken owners and told them about this forum and the upcoming Chickenstocks.

I had a chat with some of the store employees regarding swaps and they are going to have the person setting them up contact me. I had heard several different things regarding regular swaps there but none seemed to match so I will get the low down. basicly we will probably have at least one every month at augusta on the same day each month, just need to find out when and if they will have a separate farm swap or will they be together.

Had a good day and it was great to just get out and see everyone

Sarah did very well, she sold just about everything she brought and had fun talking to everyone, she got a sunburn too.... I'm going to miss the little calls but they sure sounded like they were getting a good home. Not sure which swap we are going to next also heard there was one in Brunswick??? Both Lewiston and Brunswick are about the same traveling time for us.

Im so mad I missed the one in augusta yesterday...I will not miss the one in Lewiston next weekend...Anyone going to have any adult female ducks...any breed..I need more females so bad so my males will stop fighting...

I know i thought about getting rid of my males but I love them so much and I cant bare to get rid of them..if i cant find anymore females than I will have to but i shall try for more females first...
