Sat, Oct 6 2007 8AM at the Kalona sales barn. $8 to get in, less for kids. They don't auction the poultry they "swap"-you decide a price per bird, they give you a tag and somebody hopefully buys it or it gets auctioned off at the end of the day. I would guess that about 100 to 150 cages of poultry go through here. Lots of pet quality but a few nice chickens.
