Excellent!
yup, now I'm all set and I hope I won't have to use them! I feel pretty confident that I won't have any trouble doing this. I like the position of the people in the videos. That makes a lot of sense to me. What do I have to get for food to go in the syring if I had to feed them? Obviously not layer pellets but I've always got crumble beause of my drake. Do I soak that into mush?

This isn't exactly tube feeding but sort of is so I wanted to share. My friends that work in the cardiac cath lab gave me some 14 ga 5.25" angiocath needles. They have a plastic sheath that is luer lock and last night I used the sheath with a 3cc syringe to give my Eva some B-complex and it worked great! No spillage and I know it went down. Just thought I'd share in case anyone can use this information.

If properly soaked and blended with a stick blender, you can get crumbles or pellets smooth enough to go through a size 18 tube. For smaller tubes, something like Kaytee Exact works better.
