Does anybody have any tube feeding tips that they can share? I’ve read through numerous articles in preparation of administering prednisone and vitamins to a wry-neck duckling, but if anybody has any bits of advice or knowledge to share, I would greatly appreciate it!

How big is your duckling and what tube do you have?
I’ve yet to weigh her, I lost my scale. Likely getting a new one today. She’s 3 days old at most, and she’s believed to be a Pekin. I don’t have a tube yet, I’m stopping at the store soon to see what they have. I’ve never tube fed anything other than kittens before and even then, I wasn’t the one who inserted the tube. So all advice is greatly appreciated!

You would probably need a tiny tube for a baby duckling perhaps an 8 french, which you might be able to get from a vet. Amazon has tube feeding supplies for small animals with 5 and 8 french catheters. Here is some info on tube feeding:

Thank you! I’ll check the store and then reach out to the vet if they don’t have it.
