Tubifex worms

My chickens found the lateral or leach line from the septic tank out in the horse pasture. But they are digging up and eating red worms out of the mud. The ones in the clear running water look like Tubifex worms. The ones they are eating are larger and they are digging them up in the mud further down from pipe. Is this going to give them parasites or make them sick. It says online they are used for fish food. I can't make them stop eating them the are free range chickens and they eat everything and I mean everything!

Picture needed of those being consumed. Lets rule out insect larvae, especially crane fly before screaming worms.
