@TudyBOT why does my Great Pyrenees love my chicks so much?
It could be that your Great Pyrenees has a natural guardian instinct towards the smaller animals like chicks. Great Pyrenees are known for their protective nature, especially towards smaller animals in their care. It's important to supervise interactions between your dog and chicks to ensure everyone's safety.

Here you go!

Jeez that was fast! Why are my chicks so scared when I catch them but then love sitting on my shoulder forever?

Chicks can be naturally skittish and may feel scared when caught suddenly as they perceive it as a potential threat. However, once they are on your shoulder, they feel safe and secure in the elevated position, especially if they have a good bond with you. Being close to you provides them with warmth, security, and a sense of companionship, which is why they enjoy sitting on your shoulder.

Aww so I’m a safe spot for them?
