Hi Ewesheep,

I keep meaning to ask, what breed of sheep do you raise? Also, how are the plans for starting that club coming along? That will be quite a project but something to be very proud of getting it off the ground.

Hope all is well with you, And thanks for the reply on my hatch.

LOL! I do not raise sheep, wished I did! If I ever go out in the country, I would have some Scottish Blackface sheep. Its a nickname that my husband calls me when he gets all kidding!

The Welsummer Club of North America is coming along slowly, I would work on it for a few hours and put it away for the day. By the next day, I might have a few things to add or take out and ideas of pictures of birds and eggs. I love the layout that the Marans Club had and would use some of their ideas along with the UK club. Once I get it done on the first page or so, I will submit them to Amazondoc to insert to his website. It is rather a daunting task but someone has to start it and get it going. The membership and breeder's lists are coming along good and we are increasing numbers up to 15 so far two days ago.

If you want to join, you are welcome to do so and two websites to look at. One is the Yahoo which it is the forum we use for posting and emaiilings and the Welsummer Club website is the other one which we are still under the works.

You do NOT have to own Welsummers to join the club!

And the membership is FREE.

Well I hope one day you get the opportunity to have some Sheep, they are such fun. Especially the babies, Oh my love those bouncy sweet babies. We have some here to control the grass and to maintain the pastures. Talk about landscapers, they are terrific. We have registered Polypay and Suffolk.

The club sounds nice, I will keep it in mind and thanks so very much for the invite to participate.

Now back to adoring my newest babies, which are doing absolutely wonderfl, playing and talking up a strom whenever they see me coming.
