Tumor in eye?

I have a 1 year old Americana hen that I found roosting on her own. Brought her inside and did a quick once over. She was skinny, but I didn’t see any initial injuries. I noticed she was keeping her one eye shut this morning when I was changing her bedding. I would guess this is a tumor. It seems to have shifted her iris in her eye. Has anyone seen anything like this? Could it be something else?

Poor girl! I'm honestly not sure what that could be. I've never dealt with anything like it before. I would guess it's either a tumor like you said, or possibly some sort of infection?

What did you figure out with this? One of our Easter Eggers has something very similar going on.

Could it be a worm of some description? Sounds grim but possible.
