Tumor like extrusion on vent area

I have a quail that hatched Halloween night, so it's 3 days old. I saw today it had a pasty butt so I cleaned that up, but while soaking and washing with warm water I found this extrusion.
Any ideas? This chick has deformed toes on one foot as well.
I've highlighted the affected area.

It looks like a small bit of unabsorbed yolk. If its active, eating and drinking, and none of the other chicks are messing with it I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just keep an eye on it and keep the bedding in the brooder as clean as possible so it isn't getting anything nasty on there.

I had errands to do this morning, but when I got home at 11am, the quail chick was dead.
