Hello. One of my Rhode Island Reds has what seems to be a tumor a little bigger than a golfball on her chest. Any ideas? What it may be? What I should do?

Crop, gotta be the crop. The first time I felt a swollen crop, I thought "Omg, my B has a tumor". Now I know it's just a full crop. Check her there somtime when you know she hasn't eaten for a while just to be sure. Good Luck!

Crop. Crop. Crop.

It is a pocket like organ that stores food. They can run out and gobble up a lot of food then run and hide under cover to digest it later.

Nature makes everything for a reason. Isn't it wonderful?

I've seen my little vultures with crops so full that it parts the feathers on their chest. They do go into hiding to digest it, but come out very willingly if they see me and think there's a chance for more food.
Edited because I'm stuttering when I type.

Phew!!! And here I too thought my little Betty (red cochin) was on her last legs - huge lump, off-center on her chest. Meantime, she's lively, alert, laying eggs like clockwork .. I was so confused, and so worried, and now realize that I've just got a hoarder!!!
