I was thinking about getting some turkens and was wondering which hatchery had the most colorful turkens.

thanks

I usually sell eggs, but mine are mostly buff, red. I have black ones but I dont breed out of them. But they are great birds, you will love them.

Truthfully speaking, Turkens shouldn't be so colored.

Hatcheries with "colorful" Turkens are actually just crossbreeding whatever into them (such as Speckled Sussex) and still convincing people they're true Turkens because the naked necked gene is dominant. So, colorful turkens are actually just "naked necked mutts."

I'd say the most colorful I've known come from breeders - Big Turken fans like BYC user Nava have blue, black, and splash Turkens. She got hers from another breeder, who for the moment, I cannot remember the name of. He had great stock!

If you're talking color as in just the solid (and recognized) red, black, and white - Almost all hatcheries carry those colors.
