turken just like any chicken?

wondering if turkens lay eggs all winter, if they slow down or what to expect, also does anyone know what size turkens get when grown?

I believe hens top out at about 6 pounds. Cant help with the other question, mine are going on 6 weeks.

usually they lay all winter, nice big tinted eggs if they r LF.

mine slowed down some when it was in single digits. it's kinda hit and miss laying but usually when the other girls wouldn't lay for me they did. turkens come in bantam and standard size.

My hens are probably 6-7 pounds, roo at least 9. They laid nice big brown eggs all winter but are now eating them.

My turkens are just like my chickens, this last winter was rough and everyone stopped laying for 2 whole months! Any other winter I get eggs all season.
