I'm guessing pullet for NN and cockerel for EE.

I have Leghorns, and Leghorns don't have poofy cheeks. The white one was given to me and was said to be a Leghorn…. Although we all know how that goes. He’s beautiful though…
Thank you!
x2Turk is a pullet, I believe. Leghorn/EE a cockerel.![]()
Maybe Chunky Monkey is a prairie bluebell egger (Araucana x Leghorn)“Turk” was all alone at TSC in the summer and well… he’s my unique feathered friend that is always a topic of conversation.
“Chunky Monkey, aka Chunk-a-Monk” is a white Leghorn; however, I was hoping someone might be able to tell if my bubble cheeked friend is a hen or roo?
As always, thanks in advance for your time and experience.![]()
I’ve seen EE with bubble cheeks; although I had another mystery pullet that I was told was most likely an EE (see attached) that doesn’t have bubble cheeks. I guess unless they are a true breed, any combination of characteristics are possible…Maybe Chunky Monkey is a prairie bluebell egger (Araucana x Leghorn)
Absolutely no worries…. I come here because others are far more experienced than I am. I’m a novice, even though my grandparents lived on a farm, and I just loved on all the animals.. breeds weren’t important and I didn’t understand the genetic concept back then.I am bad with NN sexing, because the only NNs I have ever had were showgirls. It looks like all of you think that Turk is a girl, so forgive me for my inaccurate sexing please!
Is that Owl?I’ve seen EE with bubble cheeks; although I had another mystery pullet that I was told was most likely an EE (see attached) that doesn’t have bubble cheeks. I guess unless they are a true breed, any combination of characteristics are possible…
Although her name is Owlette (PJ Masks from my son), it is a chicken that has an owl like face and eyes. She’s beautiful… I got her from TSC.Is that Owl?
X2Easter Egger is a cockerel. For the Turken, I lean pullet. Easter Egger looks like a possible Leghorn cross.
