Question...are the guys the black ones and the girls blonde? That's what we have and I thought would be the correct number. Does anyone raise this breed? Anything different that I need to do? They will have their own yard and house so I can pure breed them when time comes. Tks...
Roosters and hens are not determined by color. I can't be much help because I am woefully inexperienced at sexing chicks, however their color has nothing to do with their sex. I have a turken and I love that bird. Be prepared for those that find them ugly though! I get static all the time
i dont think so about the color, but idk for sure as i havent got mine yet. i have one turken pullet coming in 2.5wks (along with others) so if i can find this thread then i will let you know what color she is! i am really excited for this breed. if you have pics i would LOVE to see them
