I’m new on here and in need of some turkey advice. My Tom is 2 years old and has his head down. Took him to vet but they don’t deal with them. He gave him a shot for respiratory infection and gave me some spray for bugs he found on him. He’s alert and will stand and move around the coop. He is eating a bit and drinking a bit but still has head down. No other problems except for head down. Any advice would be appreciated
I'm sorry about your Turkey. Glad you were able to see the vet.Bugs are small black ones and spray is doctor doom for poultry and lice

I don't know much about Turkeys so it would be good if @casportpony or @R2elk would chime in.
Your vet gave you Doktor Doom to treat the bugs on him - that makes me think you are in Canada? The vet should have given you instructions on how to use the product (repeat times, etc.).
You mention that he also gave a shot for respiratory infection - do you know what medication that was? What respiratory symptoms does your Turkey have?
Photos of him may be helpful to the others when they come online.
I hope he starts feeling better soon.
Brown and runny. Thought maybe from medsWhat color is his feces? You stated earlier that it was loose which could mean coccidiosis or black head depending on the color of the feces. Put some sugar or honey in his water to give him some energy which may help improve his appetite. I would also suggest a broad based anti-biotic such as penicillin or amoxycillin for 5 to 7 days just in case he is suffering from respiratory or other infection. If his feces is foamy brown to caramel color brown (with or without blood) it is coccidiosis if it is mustard yellow then it is black head. I recommend Amprolium for the cocci at .16 ounces per gallon of water, if it is black head the above mentioned anti-biotic will aid in that recovery.
Blessings,
Bo
