Turkey and Chicken foods?

So I ended up with a "lost and found" turkey Friday evening..... I have chickens but this is my only turkey. All free-range, and I leave out Chicken Layer Crumbles for my chick hens.

Is it okay for the turkey to eat the same foods as the chickens? I feed my chooks kitchen scraps, layer crumbles and the occasional horse grain mix as a treat/scratch.

I can't keep the turkey and the chickens separate, so I'm hoping that its okay for the turkey to eat what the chickens eat!

Freerange is the key. If it's not getting enough nutrients from what you feed, it'll forage for it. Your chicken diet sounds fine, but a turk will eat LOTS more than a chicken.
