Turkey babies on the way

I got very lucky on eggbid finding a seller listing 6 three week old poults, one each of sweetwater, golden naragansett, royal palm, mottled black , bourbon red and chocolate. Sould be here by next weekend. Yipee can not wait. Told my DW I had ordered some "special chickens". See how long it will take her to figure it out. HE HE!!!!!!

LOL, longranger. I have to tell this story: We told a city friend of ours that a goose egg was a rooster egg....and he believed it. He went around telling all his city friends that it was a rooster egg...until we had to finally tell him the truth....it was soooo funny...

Wow!!!!! I have them today(tuesday) in SO-CAL just one day after they were dropped off at USPS in Indiana. Incredible good service and a little luck. Took them out of the shipping box into the brooder and they were eating, drinking and wing flapping immediately. Watching them grow and learning their personalities will be fun. Congrats on your new poults! I have 6 one week old turkey babies and am enjoying the same thing you are... right now they're exercising their budding wings and trying to jump/fly out of their brooder.
