turkey cages

i have a few pairs of turkeys and i plan to build cages i want some tall cages that i can walk into so about or atleast 6 ft tall.

Sorry, I just use a big dog carrier when I want to transport one or two. When we took all the BB whites to the butcher several years ago we just threw a tarp down in the back of the suburban and put all the turks in the back. Oh, that was a ride!!!! The butcher was almost 20 miles of old washboard dirt road so the turks were gobbling and squeaking the whole way.

I use the one that Robert Plamondon suggested building, cuz it was easy. But, the chickens like it better than the turkeys. Just google his name and hoop house. It doesn't cost much to build.

It sounds to me like you are really interested in turkey breeding pens. Cages makes one think of something portable or hutch-like. I have mine in fifteen by thirty pens with a hoop house made from 2 livestock panels covered with tarps. The whole thing is covered with net and surrounded with an electric fence.
