My turkey can't walk slowly she has been getting better she's to a point where she stands up and can move her location using her wing but she stands normal from time to time but when she goes to take a step it's like she falls over her feet still seem to work her toes aren't twisted if I hold her up she moves both legs and if I straighten them out there's resistance while they're straight so I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to suspend her off the ground and try to fix it with gravity or if I should just keep walking her around by lifting her up working on her standing I've been giving her vitamins but today she stood up I stuck my fingers under her feet and she curled her toes around my fingers I feel like these are all good signs I just don't know how long it could potentially take for her to walk or if there's other things I need to do I just bought a harness that I plan on using to possibly hold her up if you guys think that's a good idea let me know what you think but she still eats drinks and tries to stand sometimes she does stand and she'll stand there in one spot

It would help to know what kind of turkey you have, What have you been feeding it. How long has it not been able to walk?

Post some pictures too.

We feed her all flock and it happened about a week ago I know it's not because of her weight she tried to attack me but I pushed her back with my foot and that's when it happened but nothing seems really that wrong it's been getting better and I work with her to try to coach her to walk and she's been starting to stand like I said today I put my finger in her toes and she curled her toes around my finger so with that and the fact that if I hold her up off the ground she'll move both of her legs so she has movement in both of her legs I just think when I pushed her backwards something may have happened with the muscle or something but I've been giving her vitamins just wondering if I should give her another week since she does show signs of progression

Turkeys can be very resilient and heal well on their own from serious injuries.

I recommend that in the future that you do not use your feet against poultry. In the case of turkeys they can be prevented from attacking by using the sweeping end of a broom to hold them away. Do not swing the broom at them, do not use it to hit them. Use it to push them away or hold them back
