Hi All,
Out of 8 eggs we had one lone turkey hatch. I am completely new to turkeys, so I'm not sure what to expect as far as growth rate. We also had chicks hatch on the same day, and put a couple in with the turkey, for guidance and companionship. Anyways, the turkey is about the same size as the chickens but skinnier looking...does this seem normal or does it seem like it is not thriving? It is on 26% game bird starter, which we have been serving as a mash and the water has had marbles in it, but he doesn't seem very voracious.
